01 Where can I record a podcast in Boise?
You can record in our studio in Eagle, Idaho, a 12-minute drive from downtown Boise. We rent the studio by the hour, half-day, or full-day, and you book online. The studio is open by appointment only, Monday to Friday 10 to 4, and Thursdays from noon.
02 How much does it cost to rent a podcast studio in Boise?
Space only is $100 an hour: the room, the lights and the microphones, and you run the gear yourself. With a producer it is $150 an hour: a producer runs the cameras and the audio and keeps the session on track. A half-day (4 hours) is $350 and a full-day (8 hours) is $600, both space only. A half or full day with a producer is quoted.
03 What's the difference between space only and with a producer?
Space only means you get the room, the lighting and the microphones set up and ready, and you press record yourself. There are no cameras in the space-only rental. With a producer, the studio brings out the Sony cameras, runs them and the audio for the whole session, and hands you the raw files at the end.
04 Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. Every rental includes broadcast microphones (Shure SM7dB, Blue Yeti, Rode Wireless Go II lavs), a Zoom F6 recorder, Aputure lighting, and a treated sound room. If you want a specific microphone, tell us when you book and we will have it ready.
05 Can I rent the studio by the hour?
Yes. One and two hour sessions book online with instant confirmation. Most multi-guest shoots end up booking the half-day because it leaves room for setup and an unhurried recording.
06 What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel or move your session 48 hours or more ahead and you get a full refund, or a free new date. Inside 48 hours there is no refund, but you can move the session once at no charge. No-shows forfeit the full payment. Refunds go back to your card in full within one business day.
07 Will someone be at the studio when I arrive?
Yes. Someone meets you at the door at your start time, shows you the room and gets your microphones and lights running. Because the studio runs by appointment, nobody is on site without a booking, so please do not drop in.
08 Can I book the studio if I am coming from out of town?
Yes, and people do, from as far as Sun Valley. Book a half-day and record three or four episodes in one trip. Every booking is confirmed by email the moment you pay, so you can plan the drive, and parking is free at the door.
09 Where can I record a video podcast in Boise?
Our Eagle studio is built for video podcasts. Book with a producer and you get a three-camera setup, broadcast lighting and a soundproofed room, so the picture matches the sound. Most podcast studios in the area are audio only.
10 Is there a podcast studio in Eagle, Idaho?
Yes. Aloha Media Studio is a full-service podcast studio in Eagle, Idaho, 12 minutes from downtown Boise and 15 minutes from Meridian. Sessions are booked online and confirmed by appointment.
