01 How much does podcast production cost?
Our 6-episode launch package is $4,500, which works out to $750 per episode. That covers content strategy, recording in our Eagle studio, full editing and mastering, cover art, and distribution to YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Most production companies charge $500 to $2,500 per episode for a comparable scope, so we sit in the middle of the market for a fully bundled launch.
02 How long does it take to launch a podcast?
Most clients launch within 90 days. That covers planning, recording your first 6 episodes in our Eagle studio, full post-production, and getting you set up on every major platform. If you have a tighter timeline, we can compress recording into batched sessions to get the first episodes live faster.
03 Do I need my own equipment?
No. Our Eagle studio is fully equipped with broadcast-quality microphones, multi-camera video, lighting, and a treated sound environment. You show up, sit down, and talk. We handle everything technical.
04 What does full-service podcast production include?
Strategy and audience planning, episode topic development, multi-camera recording, professional audio editing and mastering, cover art design, intro/outro music, show notes, transcripts, and full distribution setup to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the rest of the major platforms.
05 How is your service different from cheaper editors?
Most editing services start when you hand over a recording. We start before that, with content strategy and pre-production. We handle the recording itself in our studio, the post-production, the visual identity, the distribution setup, and the publishing rhythm. Cheaper editors can polish what you give them. We build the entire show.
06 Can I record remotely or do I have to come to Eagle?
Local clients record in our Eagle studio, which is a 10-minute drive from downtown Boise. Remote clients can record from their own setup or a studio in their city; we handle the rest of the production from here. The launch package price is the same either way.
07 When should I outsource podcast production?
When editing is taking more than 4 hours per episode, when you've started missing publishing dates, or when you want to add video, distribution, and content strategy beyond what you can DIY. Most business podcasters break even on outsourcing within 3 to 6 episodes once you account for time.
